Hi Ed, first off, let me thank you for your efforts, to provide "our"
alumni a place to congregate. And for all your efforts period,I appreciate the
page, and the opportunities you provide. As per your request for input, I think
an open forum, for exchange, of ideas comments, and just saying howdy! is a good
way to go. It allows free access to guys from different era's to meet and exchange
input and info with each other. I noticed when looking over some of the 20th
sights, that a lot of the guys are from Vietnam's time, etc.on up to present. But
there are a lot of us from the "Cold war" time, and before even, that
would like the opportunity to hear from old friends that we lost touch with.
I was able to find one such individual,we were stationed together at Rivers
Barracks i Giessen Germany in early 60's.He made a career of the army, went
to OCS,and just retired a few years ago,had it not been for the fact that we
were both Amatuer Radio operators,I would not have found him after lo these
38 yrars! so having a place on the web to go to, via any browser will help in
this respect, and you won't have to pay any "Fee" like some of the
sights.
So there you have my input,be that as it may, I am still digging in the archives
for old photos etc, that might be of use on such a sight. So keep up the good
work, it is appreciated!
