On your casualty/memorial page, I think Weight and Davis were killed during a mine sweep. They worked from Kontum I believe. We (2/1 Cav) usually did our own sweeps of the road from Kontum past Tin Canh but sometimes the Engineers volunteered.

If it is the same incident, which is likely because of the March 69 timeframe, the Engineer team found a bomb (I think) planted in the roadbed and it exploded--command detonator from the woodline.

It happened while they were working with B Troop, 2/1 Cav, of which I was a member. I always thought that more were killed, perhaps up to five. But I guess the rest survived -- if they did, it's a miracle, given the blast.
